TDS Career and Sector Representatives Meetings – I Held
The event titled “Career and Sector Representatives Meetings – I: The Past and Present of Health Services” was held online on 20 November 2025.
The speaker of the event was Hediye Gördes, a retired nurse and former Director of Nursing Services, who has held various positions in the healthcare sector for many years. The session was moderated by Dr. Mehmet Gülşen, Coordinator of the TDS Program.
In her presentation, Hediye Gördes discussed the historical development of health services and their evolution to current practices, offering valuable insights on key areas such as health services management, human resources, quality of patient care, and technological transformation. The session also included a Q&A segment in which student questions were addressed, focusing on sectoral needs and recommendations for young health professionals. The program concluded with closing remarks and expressions of appreciation.
