Program Learning Outcomes and Educational Objectives Are Being Updated Within the Scope of the Accreditation Process

Within the framework of the accreditation studies of our TDS program, a process to update the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) and Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) has been initiated in line with the principles of continuous improvement and quality assurance. This process aims to enhance the quality of educational activities and to strengthen alignment with national qualifications and stakeholder expectations.

As part of the update process, focus group discussions were conducted with first- and second-year students of the Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program. Student feedback was collected and evaluated on key themes such as program competencies, professional skills, the balance between theoretical and practical training, and post-graduation expectations.

The qualitative data obtained from these focus group discussions will serve as a significant input for reviewing and revising the program’s educational objectives and learning outcomes, and will guide the work of the relevant academic boards and commissions. In this respect, the focus group meetings represent a concrete example of a student-centered educational approach and a participatory quality culture.

Accreditation-related activities will continue in a systematic and sustainable manner with the active involvement of internal and external stakeholders.
